Fully automatic steel cutting - ZS 180

Series ZS180 automatic machines automatically cut the reinforcement bars to the size specified by the control system.

Through the highly efficient integrated continuous steel welding device the model can process profile identical bars without creating any waste.

The steel profiles placed on the profile support are conveyed to the inlet chute. Here, a grab shaft takes hold of the 6-m-long steel bar and pushes it into the cutting unit to the desired trimming length. The trimming of the steel profiles can be performed using a quiet die cutter or sawing device. To machine differently shaped profiles, the die cutter may have an automatic cutting plate changing function. A delivery table is provided to receive the cut reinforcing steel bars.

Integration according to user preference
It is possible to operate the automatic cutting machine as a stand-alone model or in combination with a plastic machining centre.

Manual or automatic reinforcement
The automatic cutting machine can either be used as a manually-operated work area – i.e. to cut and preposition the steel for manual insertion – or as an automatic steel inserter as part of LEMUTH’S  “unicut200” machining centre. With this convenient model, precise NC technology positions the reinforcement exactly into the plastic bar.
